“We have to go meet the running man of Osaka,” I plead.
Temmabashi Station (天満橋駅) » Nipponbashi Station (日本橋駅)
June 26, 2016
I left off from the Kyobashi Gate of the Osaka Castle Park, and we walk for approximately 10 minutes before we found Temmabashi Station (天満橋駅). We took the Tanimachi Line (谷町線) and changed at Tanimachi 9-chome (谷町九丁目) Station to the Sennichimae Line (千日前線), and arrived at Nipponbashi (日本橋).
There’s a retro feel to the taxis here, which tingles my heart ↑
Glico Man, is located at Dōtonbori (道頓堀) that is nearer when walking from Nipponbashi Station (日本橋駅). North of Dōtonbori (道頓堀) area brings us to Shinsaibashi-suji (心斎橋筋), a really long shopping street that we enjoyed coming back to.
On the other hand, the Glico Man did not light up until 8pm… (I assume due to longer days in the summer, and the sun sets later) So, we waited almost an hour until the lights went up heh heh we ended our trip with some shopping and a short search for the train station.
Do look forward to Day 3!
